The sound of the name alone sends a nice sensation down my nerves because alot of memories linger. Ask anyone in Kenya about Kericho and there are sure answers you must get, believe me. My town is reputed for its green tea canopy and perrenial rains. Even the youngest child in Kenya will mention that.
What I like most is the fact that we enjoy the best quality tea here. Despite the cold weather, there's always hot tea to drive it away. The people here are just wonderful, lovely and warm. In fact, it is very offensive to get into someone's compound and refuse a cup of tea which must always be served.

The other day I had to leave my town for a neighbouring country. I could not cope with the environment. In Kericho people behave like they are all related. I missed that and now am so glad am back here with my people.

Any time you come to Kericho, you will enjoy the welcome of the residents plus a cup of tea. In fact, just before you get in, there is a welcome note: welcome to the town of love. You must spot green tea fields alongside the road and that's my town.
