Brisbane is my city, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I was born in Mount Isa, a small country town in the middle of the desert. The population was miniscule which meant I was friends with the whole town. Then there was the bad side. There was little opportunity for a girl with big ambitions to grow and shine. Though I will always consider myself a country girl, and loved Mount Isa to pieces, my family and I were headed towards bigger things in life, and said goodbye to Mount Isa for good.

Enter Brisbane! The big lights of the city lured us in and we will never go back. The weather is perfect, the sun is always out and activities and opportunities are endless.

I am 11 years old and full of energy, so Brisbane caters for my every need. I can see any movie at any time, spend a day at the park, go shopping, have a refreshing swim on a summer's day, do yoga, visit museums and do countless other cultural, sporting or mind blowing things.

There are tonnes of places to get a job and earn money. I will be a teenager soon, so the fact that there are so many opportunities for me is perfect. I have always dreamt of becoming an actress and Brisbane has given me my big break. It has kick started my career and I have appeared in a few ads. This is just a start and soon I will be moving on to bigger and better things.

I love living here with my three older brothers and my dear parents. Brisbane is a great place to be for anyone of any age.
