Anchorage, Alaska

There are only a couple of paces in the United States where the air is fresh, the views are explicit, and you could actually see the full effect of the four seasons. Anchorage is the best pace to see all this in action. Weather it being the cool breezes in the early morning of a summer day, or the feeling of snowflakes fall upon your face during and beautiful night while you look up at the sky. No matter the day or season you are in Anchorage you will be amazed by its magnificent atmosphere.

If you were to come over to Anchorage during the winter months you would find it to be one of the most beautiful places during the peak winter times of the year. With the snow covering everything in sight, wrapping the trees with frost making them looks like ice sculptures. If you were the adventurous type you could drive up 15 minutes to the closest ski and snowboard area, or if you were the view seeking kid of person you would be able to go to Earthquake Park and see the downtown Anchorage at its best.

During the summer is the best time to see what Anchorage is all about. They call Alaska the pace of the “Mid-night Sun,” but in Anchorage is the best place to see what really goes on during the mid-night sun. This is the only pace where you could stay up till three or four in the morning and the sun will still be up with you. Not only is it weird to see it for the first time but it gives you the most magnificent views throughout all of Anchorage. During the new hours of the morning the sky seems like it is on fire with streaks of pink and red flourishing threw the few clouds that are there.

If you enjoy hikes and just relaxation Anchorage offers a great deal of things for you. You could either go hiking through the woods rock climbing throughout the mountains or just relax in one of many parks throughout the city.

The seasons are not the only things that are nice around here. The people are one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Although Anchorage is the biggest town in Alaska I still consider it to be pretty relaxed even though we are growing so rapidly. If you ever come up here to visit, and you come from a big city like California you will find the drives around Anchorage will be more relaxed and more enjoyable instead of jammed and stressful. Overall people in Anchorage are just all nice and decent.

Depending on what time of the year you come to visit Anchorage. The views, adventures, and the nice people will always be here no matter the time of the year you come. When or if you decide to come just be ready for some rest and relaxation because that is the best thing you could do when in Anchorage and just be prepared for just one of the many places we call the “Great Land.”
