Bennettsville, South Carolina

A lot of people think of the South as a rural area that has one house every one hundred miles. Some people even think the South has never ending dirt roads and a lot of farms. Well, that may just be so. Like life, the South is what you make out of it. Here in Bennettsville, South Carolina where I live, we have no malls, no movie theaters, we don't even have a building that's more than three stories high. But we have each other, and you better believe we make the best out of it.

Here in my quiet small town we have very beautiful lakes, good country cooking restaurants, and golf fields that are so beautiful you'd have to see it to believe it. My town is great my favorite restaurant is only a couple of minutes walking distance. Can you imagine walking a beautiful lake at night on a walking trail that has so many beautiful lights that stretches about two miles long and as you walk there are little ducklings you can feed and the only thing you can here is the water hitting the shore lines? I can. Are you surrounded by beautiful trees? I am. All I can say is, I enjoy the quiet life in the South and my town is a beautiful place.
