Cramerton, North Carolina

Where is there a place where one can almost know every citizen and that as a great climate and is on the river? The town of Cramerton, North Carolina, where I live, is such a place.

With a population of about five hundred and fifty people, Cramerton is a closely knitted community. It is a place where the poorest man knows the richest man, and the mayor could even be your neighbor. This closeness is a way of protection. Most of the citizens do not even lock their doors? There are not to many places like that in today’s society.

Many people stay in Cramerton their entire lives vowing never to leave their beloved small town. There is only one grocery store, one restaurant, and one store in this small town fifteen minutes away from the large city of Charlotte. Cramerton enjoys a climate that contains mostly sunny skies and a few frigid days. It is a place for the person that loves the outdoors. Cramerton is a place where one can watch the sunrise in the morning and gaze at the plentiful stars in the sky at night. One can enjoy canoeing, a round of golf, or any other outdoor sports activity almost year round in Cramerton, where that feat may be impossible in most places of the globe. So if you are into a close bonded community and an outdoor lover, Cramerton is the place for you.
