United States > Georgia > Fayetteville > Fayette
Fayette is like a shower of delicate petals that slowly fall to the ground and are carried afar by the wind. It is a civilization like no other part of Georgia. It is the side of Georgia where time seems to stay still in some ways and move on in others. Where the tall rigid houses made out of firm brick halls stand tall and the past collides with the present. There are old, wooden steps that lead up to small white cottages. These houses have been through the changes throughout the past and will see the future. They are the inspiration that the architects captured and sculpted into a golden flower. And the people. Those beautiful old people who are wise and full of knowledge. The sit on their porches and chirp like birds to those who will listen. They tell of their past and of the present. They show the children the knowledge of their ways. They love and care for their town and this brings to its prosper. This is why I love my town.
