Grayson, Georgia

I live in small town in Georgia Called Grayson. We moved to Georgia from Florida in 1997 and it was such a big change. We moved to Atlanta for my husbands career. What a huge change and a very difficult adjustment for both of us. Atlanta is such a huge town that we never felt "at home". The hustle and bustle and need I mention the traffic!

We decided to look for a house and wound up in the small town of Grayson. It had such grace and charm. It still has the hometown feeling with the small streets lined with family owned businesses. The town has a lot of history and it is just such a nice place to live. At Christmas it is especially charming with the small streets lined with beautiful lights, and carolers going door to door.

Our house is on a lake which is also nice and we have ducks that visit the lake often. People are also very nice and friendly, they haven't been spoiled with big town mentality.

I thank Grayson for making me feel at home which is something that I did not think would happen when we first moved to Georgia. Now I feel as though I had lived here all of my life !!
