Just outside of town there are beautiful open fields, farms, and lots of animals. When you come to the inside of the town you will find friendly people ,historic buildings and a community who looks out for each other.
Everybody knows everybody in this town and they look out for you. If you need something they will be there. News gets around fast so if you are in trouble they will know before you have a chance to tell them.
At night it looks like a ghost town. If you come home late it looks like a deserted place. All of the stores close up and turn their lights out early. There isn't a soul in sight by ten.

The neighborhoods are really great and everybody's yards are well kept. Most everything is within walking distance. We have a Subway, a Mcdonald's, and a few other nice restarants.

Everybody around here puts a lot of trust into each other. I think it's mostly because everybody is friends with everybody else. You will soon be their friend too once they get to know you. It its pretty peaceful around town. Many people that you meet are either farmers or business owners. They all seem very nice and if you talk to them they have great stories to tell. Hudson is just a little place. There are a lot of roads to travel and there is a lot of open space, but that is the way I like it.

Everybody here is also very supportive of their school's teams. They hold parades and most everybody goes to the games. The town has a lot of history in it. The buildings have been standing for years. They are well built and beautiful. Hudson has some of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen.

There is a siren that goes off when there is a fire or a tornado. It goes off many times a year and we can hear it really well at our house.
