McCandless, Pennsylvania

I love my town. I live in the town of McCandless in Wexford PA. It is not that big but it is not that small either. It consists mostly of homes, neighborhoods, shops, and other buildings. There is also a great park.

It is cold in the winter and warm in the summer. There are a lot of different things you can do in all seasons. For instance in the summer you can golf, go to a batting cage, watch a movie, walk or bike in the park, fish, and many more. In the winter you can sled ride, ice skate, or go snow tubing. In the summer there is a big festival with food, entertainment, and many things to do. You can also play just about any sport here.

I go to North Allegheny school district and go to Carson Middle School. It’s great. I like where I live but I probably don’t want to stay here when I grown up. When the seasons change here it is great. All of the trees change colors. When you look out over the horizon you can see so many different colors, it looks like a sea of reds, yellows, and oranges. Then once winter comes it gets very cold and the snow starts to fall. We get quit a bit of snow. Usually around 4 inches, this year we had a ton of snow! When spring and summer comes around you can here the sounds of kids playing out side, people mowing and doing yard work, and all of those great nature sounds.

There is so many great things about my town I cant explain it, you’ll just have take a trip here!
