Newark, New Jersey

Welcome to Newark, one of the largest city in the world. Newark's population is based on many different
cultures, years ago it was predominately Italian, today the Portuguese, Spaniards, Brazilians and Mexicans have slowly moved in. Population is at an average of 273,000 people. I moved to Newark, Ironbound) at the age of four from France.

The Ironbound section of Newark, this name originated from all the railroad tracks. Years ago the trains ran all day through the city. Ferry St. one of the most popular streets in the Ironbound section, (years ago it was filled with water and the fairy used to drop off milk along with groceries to everyone's home)

Newark has great museum's, beautiful churches and Cathedrals. We also have our own stadium now called the Newark Bears. School systems have improved throughout the years and high schools are
very well disciplined.

There are many successful businesses such as Portuguese Restaurants, people from all over New Jersey come to Newark to enjoy the delicious food and strong espressos. The architectural buildings made by the Portuguese and Spaniards have this city sparkling. There are restaurants at every corner and a coffee shop and if you need a haircut there are about thirty shops.

Newark has it all, clean streets, safe environment great people and our four seasons. Newark's history makes it a really great place to live.
