The city that I live in is called North Adams. North Adams in in Massachusetts. North Adams is an industrial division of Adams, Mass. Adams was founded by Samuel Adams, not the beer brand. It was built on top of a bunch of hills and mountains. North Adams is considered a city instead of a town.

North Adams has a museum called Mass MoCA, which is practically the center of my town. Mass MoCA is a museum of contemporary art. North Adams is almost like a countryside town. My town is peaceful and quiet. It is cold here most of the time. North Adams is in a valley, mountains protect it, it is located in western Massachusetts and is south of Vermont.

The schools here are great! There are seven schools in North Adams, The only middle school here is Silvio O. Conte Middle School. There are but three high schools in North Adams. They are Johnson, Drury High and McCann Tech, which is a private school. There are three elementary schools here too. Their names are Brayton, Greylock, and Sullivan Elementary Schools. Some kids walk to school, some kids take the bus, and some kids just get a ride from their parents.

The weather here is just like any other Northeastern state. In the winter it is usually cold. In the summertime it sometimes rains, but is usually hot. In the fall, it is a little bit cold most of the time. And in the spring, it sometimes rains and is usually warm.

Life in general is calm. It is usually peaceful. Most of the time it's quiet, and hardly anything bad goes on around here. The food and restaurants are great too. Then we have the same restaurants as everybody else and some different ones. We have McDonalds and Burger King and every other common restaurant. We also have two restaurants called Brannings and Gringo's. Brannings is a great restaurant, it has an arcade with bowling inside it, it caters and is a very public place. Gringo's caters too, it is a great place to go and eat, and it's just a great place to go.
