I love Puryear even though I wasn't born there. I came from the Windy City of Chicago, but the good country spirit sure did calm my rebellious nerves. There's fresh air everywhere you go, great people, and gorgeous animals around every corner. You never know what animal you might come across!

The city air's pretty cool and all, but only to an e extent. The good ol' country air is easier on the lungs; making it easier anyone to breath. There's a relaxing scent after the rain and you know before hand just by stepping outside how the weather's gonna be.

People down here are quite friendly as well. If I'm ever in the dumps, I have my 7 best friends to pick me up onto my feet. There's no doubt that this little town's got more to offer than a funky name! One of them had actually saved me life before, all the while risking theirs. Even though falling off a giant rock onto a steep hill might not sound too horrible, it couldn've killed him if I would've flipped him.

Then there's the animals. Puryear's made up of farms and small clutters of neighbors. I don't exactly live on a farm, but next to us are raised cows, chickens, llamas, pigs, goats, emus, donkeys, horses, mules, dogs, and geese. Granted, sometimes they keep you up at night or escape from their pen (which is quite funny to see them chase 50 cattle back into a bent-up barbwire pen), but it's amazing all the same to live around the animals. It's great if you wish to become a veterinarian, animal trainer or animal cop. You can easily study the behaviors of a certain animal and gain experience. That's what they're really looking for in those job resumes.

Puryear might be just about broke and rundown little old town, but we live day to day, week by week and enjoy every bit of it, and how couldn't you with the fresh air, people, and the great environment? Puryear's got more to offer than you'd think, so why not come on down and check us out?
