Rancho Bernardo, California

"Hush, Hush, Slow Down!" cries the wind as I rush through the bushes outside. Finally, I am at the top of my place, a secret place, where I am invisible. I sit down on the very tip of the rocks, in a chair-shaped hole. There I rest, and listen to the wind. It whispers, "Hush, Hush, slow down." So I hush, I slow down, and calm myself by singing.

Looking around at all the beautiful scenery, it brings joy to my heart. Mountains surround my town, and friendly people wave to each other while passing by. Everyone acts like it's Christmas, giving each other gifts and hugs as if they hadn't seen them in years, only knowing each other for a few months if not that. Everywhere I look, greenery surrounds the lush valleys, the tall mansions. Mother nature takes its place, although Rancho Bernardo is a big city. Tall trees grow of plenty, and flowers fill the air with their vagrant scents. The sun shines down upon my chilled face, warming it with its glowing arms. I look down and see a mother happily pushing her baby along the rosy streets. Everyone and everything is so wonderful there. Instead of calling it a hometown, it is really one big home. Everyone in here is family, and family is really what matters. So, Welcome to my Town, and enjoy the wonders everyday has to offer!
