Rome, New York

Peaceful. Friendly. Enduring. These are just a few of the many glorious words that come to my mind when I hear the name of my town being mentioned. My town, Rome, is not a very large town and has some of the most friendly people there are. Not only are there a lot of events always going on for kids and teenagers, but adults as well.

All the gathering places that are in Rome gives the people a chance to mix and mingle with their neighbors. I am sure that I am not the only person who feels this way. Our patriotic and very involved people who live here really gives the meaning to the word community. This is why I love my town.
