Salem, Oregon

Salem, Oregon is very caring in every sense of the word. I have lived here for 31 years now and have seen so much come about. I have volunteered in this community for well over 15 years for the homeless. To me, this is the pulse of the city. There is so much in Salem due to the many "helps programs" that are used to guide people into a good way of life. My community, in West Salem, is the hard hit area and I am centered here to bring about a change. I am surrounded with over 10 local churches all within a 2 mile radius. The community enforcement, school district and people at large are in unison when we have to come together for the sake of our well being. To me, this is nothing to overlook. I love this with all of my heart. It is important to know what makes this city tick and once you do it becomes a fountain, over flowing with treasures. The outlook for Salem, Oregon is exciting daily. I go in and out of this town to see all the good that is here and I just love the smiles and the handshakes offered.
