United States > Missouri > Thayer
You ask why I like my town? I can answer. I like my town because it's not so big and not too small. This town, Thayer, has an average population of two thousand people. My town is kept clean and tidy. Thayer has a nice river running through our park. This river is Warmfork River. In this river, people come from all over just to fish, wade, swim, and have fun. For such a small town, we have many houses. We also have much land where we let our animals and our children roam. It's true that we only have two schools, an elementary and a high school. Some of these people are mean, and most of the are nice. Up the hill in the center of town, we have a nice public library. It's not so big, but it is kept nice and clean, it's warmed in the winter, and cooled in the summer. For this small library, we sure do have a variety of books to read. One thing that I think is kind of cool is that since this Town isn't so big, we have 5 places for people to come and get their hair and nails done. Well, for me, it's just a real cool place to hang out with friends and parents.
This is why I like my town, not too big and not too small. For me, and the people who live here, this town is just too perfect.
